Cherish your friendships

My friend Jessica recently posted some old pictures from high school on her facebook, and I cant help but think back on the good old days. Jessica and I met in our Junior year in high school when we were on our way to the homecoming dance and we became friends right away. From then on we went everywhere and did everything together, shopping, school, seminary, parties, movies, homework, and sometimes swimming. I had never had a friend like her before, she understood everything I was going through and I understood everything she was going through. We could talk to hours about anything and everything. We use to laugh about how no one would understand how we communicated because our topic of conversation would change so often! We would talk about stupid boys and how they have so much control over our moods and how stupid it was that we let them, we would cry talking about our lives that we left behind in Utah, and laugh about how our parents would never understand us, I still love her with all my heart we have been through some really hard times where our friendship has been tested but we always manage to pull through because we love each other. I will never forget our late nights when we lived right around the corner from each other but we would still walk each other half way home and then run as fast as we could to get back to our houses because we were scared of being outside at night by ourselves. Or watching The Exorcism of Emily Rose and thinking it was the scariest move ever! I loved our nights where we would sit in her hot tub and drink lemonade from her plastic martini cups, and listen to music that she could play from her phone. I don't know why I was blessed with the greatest best friend ever but I am so thankful to have her in my life. I love you Jessica Raymond!!
