No matter how hard life gets,

There is always someone who has it worse than you. My little sister Rachael is one of the strongest person I know. This year she has lost all of her hair do to alopecia. She is only 17 and has to deal with one of the hardest things a girl could deal with. I cried for days thinking of how hard it would be for her, of how mean and judgemental kids are in high school, all of the looks and the questioning eyes that would follow her. I couldn't think of anything else but of how you protect her from what was happening. But she proved to me that she doesn't need protecting. She smiles through her trial that most others would break down and shy away from. She is my example of how to live my life. Be strong, be brave and be proud of who you are. I love you Rachael!
